Create-Your-Own Container
Create and assemble your own native plant container in this hands-on, guided group experience. Learn the basics of container gardening, discover the ecological value of native plants, and take home a beautiful pot of high-quality native plants from Mt. Cuba Center to get you started! All supplies included.

Nature Journaling
Engage your group in this interactive workshop to learn about the artistic and observation-based practice of nature journaling. Begin with a short introductory presentation, followed by time outdoors in Mt. Cuba Center’s gardens to experiment with the process. Leave with the skills necessary to continue nature journaling in your home landscape. All supplies included.

Pyrography
Discover the art of wood burning with your group! This experience provides guided instruction on the tools and techniques of pyrography. Test your skills at this craft, drawing inspiration from Mt. Cuba Center’s native flora as you burn unique designs on coasters or holiday ornaments in supervised studio time.

Microscope Lab
Get up close and personal with soil, plant cuttings, and more on a microscopic adventure with your group! This guided workshop is perfect for groups looking for an innovative and educational experience, with basic microscope instruction and supervised lab time to examine a variety of prepared specimens. No prior experience necessary. All equipment provided.
