Every Thursday at 10:30 am

Get lost in a book during Story Time in the Gardens. Children are invited to visit the gardens on Thursday mornings for a story from a nature-themed children’s book. Intended for children age 5 and under. Meet in the Main House before walking outside to read. No reservations required, and free with admission.

Second Sundays starting at 11:30 am and 1 pm

Ride on our wagon through an oral history of Mt. Cuba’s land management, conservation efforts, and restoration projects. Tickets are $3 per person in addition to garden admission, children under 2 are free. Tickets are available on-site, on the day of the event. Space is limited.

Explore the gardens at your own pace with our general admission tickets. Grab a scavenger hunt map from the main house or picnic under beautiful trees. Plus, children 5 and under are FREE.

Join us on August 18 or September 6 for our evening event. Twilight on the Terrace features additional entertainment, lawn games, live music, and opportunities to explore Mt. Cuba Center’s gardens at dusk. Unwind in the golden hour at Mt. Cuba. Food, beer, and wine are available for purchase.
