Summary
Phlox pilosa is a late spring blooming species with narrow leaves and a rhizomatous habit. The plants we trialed were not particularly robust but did have excellent powdery mildew resistance. The lack of vigor may have been caused by our soil, as this species prefers a drier soil with sharper drainage.
