Summary
Phlox stolonifera ‘Fran’s Purple’ was the top-performing selection of creeping phlox in our trial. It was a vigorous grower and maintained a dense mat of foliage throughout each year of the trial. The flower color is similar to another top-performing cultivar called ‘Sherwood Purple’; however, ‘Fran’s Purple’ has a slightly shorter stature and smaller leaves.
