Phlox divaricata ‘Clouds of Perfume’ was a mediocre performer in our trial. Like many other selections, the plants bloomed well each spring, but powdery mildew caused them to completely defoliate during the summer months. Other cultivars like ‘Blue Moon’ look very similar but proved to be much more vigorous.
