Summary
Heuchera ‘Purple Mountain Majesty’ forms short mounds of satiny, dark purple foliage. The leaves emerge dark purple and fade to purplish green. Unfortunately, leaf discoloration was a frequent problem with this cultivar. Floral performance was noted to be quite good with numerous white flowers borne on erect wands in early summer. When grown in full sun, ‘Purple Mountain Majesty’ experienced mildly burnt leaf tips and significant discoloration, and is thus only recommended for part shade – full shade conditions.
