Summary
Heuchera ‘Color Dream’ was one of the best performing silver-leaved cultivars in our trial. Its habit was consistently full and lush. In spring the foliage emerged predominantly silver but with dark hues of purple and green. These colors began to homogenize as the season progressed to produce a beautiful silvery leaf with blue-green undertones and accentuating dark green veins. This cultivar did not rate highly for its floral display due to a low quantity of inflorescences. However, its uniformly mounding foliage never failed to impress. When grown in full sun, ‘Color Dream’ experienced slightly burnt leaf tips and discoloration, and is thus only recommended for part shade – full shade conditions.
