Echinacea purpurea ‘Butterfly Kisses’

3 Photos

Summary

Echinacea purpurea ‘Butterfly Kisses’ is part of the Cone-fections™ series introduced by Arie Blom in the Netherlands.  This double-flowered cultivar displays well-formed and tidy blooms featuring light pink ray petals, and a darker pink center. ‘Butterfly Kisses’ has short and sturdy stems that hold the gaudy inflorescences above tight rosettes of foliage.  This cultivar scored well the first year of the trial but unfortunately aster yellows took its toll and all plants were removed before completing the evaluation.
