Summary
A member of the DOUBLE SCOOP™ series from Ball Horticultural, this double cultivar is well named. The cranberry-red flowers have wild and shaggy form, similar to ‘Marmalade’ and ‘Hot Papaya’. While a few plants produced spectacular floral displays, they proved to be prone to flopping which resulted in lower scores. Aster yellows was observed in DOUBLE SCOOP™ Cranberry, resulting in the premature removal of two of the five plants and possibly the decreased vigor in the remaining DOUBLE SCOOP™ Cranberry coneflowers.
