Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Rising Sun’

3 Photos

Summary

Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Rising Sun’ had one of the most impressive floral displays during the first year, lasting all summer instead of just a few weeks like most of the other C. grandiflora cultivars. However, when the plants returned the following year, they had single rather than semi-double flowers. In 2013, ‘Rising Sun’ suffered from downy mildew and powdery mildew, likely causing the deaths of the entire group.
