Mt. Cuba Center welcomes you to experience summer in the Brandywine Valley and connect with nature. Our shaded walking paths wind through lush woodlands and a vibrant meadow, around serene ponds and stately formal gardens. Our scenic garden in summer is one you don’t want to miss!

Family Yoga

Join Petite Yogi, a local yoga practice, for a fun yoga session in our South Garden! From beginners to experienced yogis, children ages 4 and up with an adult are invited to take this relaxing yoga class designed to strengthen family bonds.

Mt. Cuba Center Story Time in the Gardens

Story Time Sprouts

Tune into nature and get lost in a book in Mt. Cuba’s gardens. Families are invited on Thursday mornings through Labor Day for a reading from nature-themed children’s books. Intended for children age 5 and under.

Reserve Spots

Family Yoga and Story Time Sprouts are free with a membership or general admission. Members sign-in through your Member Portal to reserve spots online. Guests should check in at the Orientation Tent in the parking lot. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to sit on and maintain social distancing recommendations throughout your visit. Note both of these events are weather permitting.
