Summary
Flowering spurge (Euphorbia corollata) is a clump-forming perennial with an upright habit and tiny, white flowers. It grows 0.5-3’ tall and thrives in well-drained, average soils in full to partial sun. It tends not to perform well in areas with rich soils and high competition. Once established, it is tolerant of drought as well as rocky, sandy and/or clay soils. To propagate this plant, collect and sow seeds in spring or fall; avoid disturbing established clumps. Pair flowering spurge with wild geranium (Geranium maculatum) and blue mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum) in a woodland edge, or incorporate it into a prairie planting with black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia fulgida) and butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa). Zones 4-9.
