Member Tours

Go behind-the-scenes on an exclusive, member-only tour led by Mt. Cuba Center’s expert staff.  Tours last approximately one to two hours and include walking over rolling terrain and mulched paths.

Go on a tour with exclusive access to our compost facility with Peter Shotzberger, Compost and Turf Specialist. Learn our process for composting garden debris and view finished compost that has been screened and ready for the garden. Discover how our staff uses wood from the gardens to make it into a sustainable mulch.

Enjoy a first look at our newest large-scale garden with Director of Horticulture, George Coombs. This new garden will feature a woodland glade environment not currently represented at Mt. Cuba. Freshly planted, be the first to tour this exciting new space before it officially opens in spring of 2022.
