This program takes place in-person Section A: Six Wednesdays: April 14 to May 19 (Rain Date: Wednesday, May 26)
Increase your range of motion, core body strength, and flexibility through the practice of yoga in a lovely garden setting. Focus on stretching techniques that safely promote proper spinal position, balance, and joint health. No experience is necessary. Bring a yoga mat, towel, and wear comfortable clothing. (Ages 18 and over)
About the Instructor:
Michael Fahey is co-founder of the Awareness Center in Newark and has practiced yoga for more than 40 years. He instructs at FIT in Wilmington and his classes emphasize the essentials of Iyengar yoga – focused attention on breathing and precise postural alignment – in a supportive and fun atmosphere.
