Don’t let weeds get the upper hand this season! Learn how to identify the most common annual and perennial lawn and garden weeds using leaves, flowers, stems, and seeds. The fall section covers species that should be removed before winter, making next year’s garden more maintenance free. Ecologically friendly methods of managing weed infestations are discussed.
About the Instructor:
Scott Freedman is Mt. Cuba Center’s Grounds and Plant Health Care Specialist. Prior to this, he managed a commercial maintenance company where he supervised operations, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and purchasing.
