Pondscaping with Native Plants (Online)

The ponds at Mt. Cuba.
  • This event has passed.

This program takes place online Thursday, June 10

Permanent water features such as ponds and water gardens attract a wide range of wildlife including wetland birds, dragonflies, frogs, salamanders, turtles, and the predators that eat them, such as snakes and hawks. Learn which plants grow in water and just beyond the water’s edge in ponds with permanent standing water. Scott presents the best approaches to caring for the plants and how to manage problems associated with duckweed, algae, invasive species, pond leaks and erosion.
