Learn the basics of identification, natural history, and specific lethal compounds of species you may encounter while hiking or foraging. Leave with a solid understanding of which plants to avoid touching and consuming and which ones to keep away from pets and children!

About the Instructor:

Mark Manning has a BS in Environmental Science and Chemistry from Rider University. He teaches chemistry and toxicology at Hopewell Valley Central High School in New Jersey and instructs students about poisonous plants and their edible look-alikes.
