Having trouble getting rid of invasive plants? You are not alone! Start with learning to correctly identify the most common ones, including burning bush, bittersweet, and Japanese stiltgrass, then learn how to get rid of them. See a variety of invasive plants on site and leave with a list of recommended native plants to replace them with. Help stop the invasion now!
About the Instructor:
Barbara Rinehart has a bachelor’s degree in biology from James Madison University and an MSc from Johns Hopkins University. At Mt Cuba Center she is a Docent and “Moss Master.” Barb has also designed award-winning public pollinator gardens and served on the Tyler Arboretum Butterfly Management team.
