Fitness Walks in the Natural Lands

A group of people dressed in fall clothing walk up a hill.
  • This event has passed.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Mt Cuba Center’s gardens, forests, and meadows this fall and winter as you experience the change of seasons – from autumn’s foliage to winter’s serenity. Become familiar with our native flora as you improve your health, engage with our staff, and explore the extensive walking trails in our natural lands. Each walk will be different and will cover approximately 2.5 to 3 miles. Dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, and be prepared for hilly (sometimes steep) and uneven terrain.

This program takes place in-person (in Mt. Cuba Center natural lands) Three Fridays: January 21, February 11 and 25 (Snow Date: the Friday following the cancellation)

About the Instructor(s):
Eileen Hazard is the Outreach Coordinator at Mt. Cuba Center, promoting our mission of ecological gardening and habitat conservation to surrounding communities while overseeing a robust volunteer program.
