This program takes place in-person April 10 (Rain Date: Saturday, April 17)

Whether you are a budding arborist or weekend woodcutter, this is an ideal opportunity to learn how to tune up your chainsaw under the guidance of Eric Kelley, an ISA Certified Arborist®. Eric demonstrates professional-level use of a saw as well as proper safety protocols and maintenance procedures, including protective clothing, chain sharpening, bar tensioning, and cleaning and replacing filters. Bring your own saw and get it ready for the season! Note: no chainsaws will be operated in class.

About the Instructor:

Eric Kelley, an Assistant Arborist at Mt. Cuba Center and enjoys maintaining and troubleshooting motorized equipment. He is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist® and has an AAS degree in environmental engineering technology from Delaware Technical Community College.
